Samantha Smart is an award-winning film production and business college graduate seeking an opportunity to apply her passions to a socially impactful production company. She thrives in fast-paced, collaborative workspaces and brings a natural enthusiasm to all entertainment environments. Her most recent work includes Cam Jacob's official music video for "Wait 4 Me" (2023) and MAKAI's official music video for "sunset in a cup" (2023). She is currently pursuing her Master's of Communication Management at University of Southern California.

 

Smart is passionate about pre-production and development for film and television, having completed internships at 42 Management & Production, Cinemanas, Blumhouse Productions, Atomic Monster Productions, and her current internship at Roadside Attractions. She plans to found a production company that creates genre films that center the theme of gender.

While completing her undergraduate film production degree at California State University, Northridge, Smart executive produced the first-ever narrative film production completed exclusively by women, trans, and non-binary creatives at California State University, Northridge. Smart has garnered extensive on-set experience in several CSUN student films, credited as follows: Production Accountant for This is Their Land (2021), Wardrobe Supervisor for Kites (2021), Cover Up (2021), El Halcón (2021), Un Día Más Un Día Menos (2021), and Folsom (2021); Unit Production Manager for Dahlia's Monsters (2021), Manong (2022), and The Cliff Effect (2022); 2nd Assistant Camera for Here; and Production Consultant for 90 Miles (2023).

Smart has additionally worked as a background performer on a variety of projects, including Do Revenge (Netflix), The Company You Keep (ABC), The Sex Lives of College Girls (HBO), The Brothers Sun (Netflix), Ted (Peacock), Presumed Innocent (Apple), and many more.
